Kelvin makes a good point, there is nothing wrong with successful Black women dating firefighters, policemen, mailmen, etc. So there is nothing equally nothing wrong with dating men in those careers that aren’t Black. It is time to take a page from the Black man’s book and relish the freedom of choice. A good person remains a good person despite the skin they are packaged in. No sister has to die alone waiting for the right Black man. There are so many other men out there just waiting for a chance to get to know us.

I as a single straight black man, educated, home owner, no children would love to have nothing but a BLACK WOMAN, but it seems so hard for me to find one, but it is so easy to date other women but I dont. Sista’s must do away with the unreal want’s and be more realistic. yes some of you may have a high paying job(oh I’m sorry career), but at the end of the day you are still a black woman, ladies theres nothing wrong with dating a firefighter, policeman, mailman, garbageman, etc,,, as long as the brotha has a legit job, and has values. If not it’s sad to say that some of my sistas may die alone.

3. You have some valid points. But it comes down to if black men don’t want good quality strong women rather than a submissive yes woman that is their loss. We as black women need to stop pineing for these loser black men yes sucessful black men can still be losers because if they can dismiss the very entity that created them they can go to hell. The majority of them are insecure and need their egos stroked everyday. A real black man can handle a strong woman who has a mind of her own. Basically girls it time to try something new if they don’t want us we need to starting looking elsewhere also why should we be along. yes some of us choose to be alone but we need to let go and stop caring about what other people think. Black men don’t care they will sleep with anything. We also need to get rid of all these requirements there are still alot of good black men out their who appreciate quality we cares how tall he is.
