Washington Redskins quarterback Donovan McNabb’s wife, Roxie McNabb, led the Redskins wives team to a victory over the Philadelphia Eagles wives team over the weekend.

The charity basketball game was held at Rutgers University campus in Camden, New Jersey to raise money to help cure lung and breast cancer. A portion of the proceeds went towards the American Lung Association, Tackling Cancer: The Keisha and Levon Kirkland Fund and the Susan G. Komen 3-Day For The Cure.

When speaking on his wife Roxie’s basketball skills, Donovan McNabb said, “She played all four years.” “she started as a freshman all the way through. So, you know, she’s all-time leading in assists and steals leader at Syracuse University.”

Fact Check:

Roxie Mcnabb was a four-year starter at Syracuse University (1995-98).  She ranks second on the program’s all-time list for assists and steals. Roxie was also named team MVP twice and the 1997 Scholar-Athlete Of The Year.
