Basketball Wives’ Star Evelyn Lozado Speaks On Interracial Dating.

Basketball Wives’ star Evelyn Lozado wrote an interesting  article to Globalgrind about interracial dating.

Lozado writes:

“I recently had a discussion with a friend and the topic of interracial dating came up – and I had to share my thoughts.

As an educated Latina – who is literally colorblind when it comes to dating or friends – I have a huge issue with this topic! It’s 2010 – and I can’t believe that the issue of interracial couples is so prevalent today – as it once was back in the 50’s – before we were born.

It’s such a shame that race still comes up. I think it’s important that when seeking a partner – the deciding factor should be whom you are attracted to, who loves you, and who respects you, and your family.

My future husband will be a man of God who loves me, his family, and puts his family and our family first. I wish everyone felt this way – however we still live in a society where it’s discussed, frowned upon, and often judged.

Coming from NYC – the issue of dating across the board, is less of an issue in my experience, given that it’s the melting pot of the world.”

  1. I find it very embarrassing how incorrect her grammar is in the excerpt from her article; particularly since she prefaces the editorial “as an educated Latina”. Yikes. Please revisit a writing textbook or hire an editor for future writing opportunities. This is from a fan not a hater.

  2. Easy for you to say when every man your with has millions.Black women were good enough for Chad before he had money now they are not!!!!
