Meet Beth M. Tibbott, girlfriend of NFL star James Harrison.
The couple has two children together, 3-year-old James III and 1-year-old Henry.
On May 23, 2009, the couple’s oldest child, James III, sustained an injury to his thigh when the family’s pit bull became agitated and bit him.
The dog also bit Beth when she tried to intervene and James’ massage therapist, who needed three stitches. On May 26th,2009, James III was released from the hospital.
Beth M. Tibbott is the owner and director of “Tibbott & Richardson” law firm located in Downtown Pennsylvania.
Ms.Tibbott graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Mount Aloysius College in Cresson, PA. Ms. Tibbott received her law degree from Duquesne University School of Law. Ms. Tibbott concentrates her practice in the area of criminal law, with a subspecialty in DUI defense.
Ms. Tibbott is an active member of the National College for DUI Defense. She also is experienced in family law, business development and real property law. Ms. Tibbott is admitted to practice in all Pennsylvania state courts and in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of PA.
Beth also helped set up the James Harrison Foundation and serves as its chief executive officer, bringing in more than a dozen corporate sponsors.
James Harrison currently plays linebacker for the NFL Pittsburgh Steelers. He was signed by the Steelers as an undrafted free agent in 2002.
A four-time Pro Bowl selection, Harrison has earned Super Bowl rings with the Steelers in Super Bowl XL and Super Bowl XLIII. Harrison is currently playing in this year’s 2011 Superbowl against the Green bay Packers on Febuary 6th.
