Meet Amanda Langston Barnett, wife of NFL star Nick Barnett. The pair went to rival universities in Oregon, but eventually met through mutual friends.
Nick says,“Every time I saw her or heard her voice, it made me want to be a better man… She made me feel like I could do anything in the world with her by my side.” After being drafted by the Green Bay Packers in 2003, Nick proposed to Amanda over her graduation weekend.
Amanda says, “It was such a surprise, and it made a big day even more special!” The couple was married in June, 2009. They have two children together, sons Kaden and Kruz.

Nick Barnett currently plays for the Green Bay Packers of the NFL. The Packers drafted him out of Oregon State University in the first round of the 2003 NFL Draft with the 29th overall selection.
On April 10, 2007, Barnett signed a six year contract extension worth $34.85 million, after extended negotiations with Packers management.
Barnett is currently preparing to play in this year’s 2011 Super Bowl against the the Pittsburgh Steelers.
