Two months ago, Flavor Flav’s Chicken restaurant opened in Clinton, Iowa drawing national media exposure. This past Friday, the restaurant held it’s official grand opening but some say it wasn’t so grand as employees started coming forward saying their paychecks are bouncing.
One of Flava Flav’s employees said several banks refused to cash her pay check, so she drove to Freedom bank in Rock Falls where the account is held. As a result, the bank still wouldn’t cash the check citing insufficient funds.
“It’s not true information first of all and second of all maybe these are people that’s just jealous of me being here and probably want to see me out” said Flavor Flav who went on to say, “Yes, we do have money in our accounts.”
