Grammy award winning rap group Salt-N-Pepa rocked the stage in Atlanta over the weekend celebrating the 25th anniversary of their 1986 debut album, “Hot, Cool, & Vicious.”
The trio kicked off their “Legends of Hip Hop” tour on February 4th, 2011 in Cleveland, Ohio and will finish on April 9th in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The tour also features a star-studded roster of old school veterans including: Kurtis Blow, Doug E. Fresh, MC Lyte, Slick Rick, Whodini, Kool Moe Dee, Rob Base, Naughty By Nature, and Biz Markie.
“We encounter so many people who said they long to hear and see us again in concert,” said Salt in a statement. “People really miss seeing us out there. They come up to us and mention that our music touched them, brings back so many great memories for them, and helped them just see life differently.”
