Meet Kimberly Brown Chandler, wife of NBA star Tyson Chandler. The couple met on a blind date in high school. Kim and Tyson married in 2005 at Westwood Methodist Church in Los Angeles before more than 500 guest. They have two children, a daughter and son.
Kim and Tyson are very involved in the their community. During the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, the couple organized a charity to help New Orleans families who suffered from the catastrophic storm. The charity helped purchase “small things” (as Chandler said) for the family’s homes: TVs, stoves, microwaves, refrigerators, pots, pans etc. The wives of Chandler’s teammates helped in the efforts.

Tyson Chandler currently plays for the NBA Dallas Mavericks. Chandler was selected 2nd overall by the Los Angeles Clippers, who immediately traded his rights to the Chicago Bulls.
In July 28, 2009, he was traded to the Charlotte Bobcats. On July 13, 2010, Chandler was traded to the Dallas Mavericks.
