NFL star Hines Ward and professional dance partner Kym Johnson took home the coveted mirror ball trophy on the Season Finale of the hit ABC show “Dancing With The Stars” last night( May 24, 2011). The pair chose the samba for their final dance and earned a perfect score of 30 from the judges for their performance.
The Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver thanked his professional dance partner, Kym Johnson, calling her “an amazing teacher.” “I want to thank all the fans,” a beaming Ward said, shortly before being handed the mirror ball trophy.
