Actor Taye Diggs Speaks On His New Children’s Book, “Chocolate Me”

Actor Taye Diggs stopped by the “Live With Regis And Kelly” show to talk about his new childrens book titled, “Chocolate Me,” which he co-wrote with his childhood friend Shane Evans.

Diggs tells Regis and Kelly the reasoning behind the book originated from the struggles all kids have with what makes them different.

“You should be proud and embrace your differences regardless if its race or religion or if something is looked upon as a handicap,” Diggs said.

Diggs’ wife of eight years, Idina Menzel, says the book is an “Amazing children’s book.”

Maxine Waters Speaks On President Obama’s CBC Speech: ‘I Don’t Know Who He Was Talking To Because We’re Certainly Not Complaining.’

California Democratic Representative Maxine Waters, a member of the Congressional Black Caucus, chatted with CBS’ “The Early Show” about President Obama’s speech to the CBC over the weekend.

Waters, who has been critical this year of President Obama’s response to the high unemployment within the black community, said she found it “curious” that Mr. Obama told black leaders to “stop complaining.”

“I don’t know who he was talking to because we’re certainly not complaining,” Waters said. “We’re working. We support him,” added Waters.
