1. this guy is still blind to a degree, because my mind goes back to those same comments black americans who have already paid the way for us, to not have to be in that position any more to work harder solely because I am black or latino in this america. yes we are tanning more in america but it more between black american and white american oppose to our latino brothers and sisters whom are a generation ahead of us tanning, because the spanish ideological of slavery was very different than the dutch and english ideology later on after the spanish was rubbed out the usa by the english and the dutch. the spanish stated their purpose was to create one blood via the in-slaving of the native americans and the african slaves, and too although the spanish-slavery were tough and harsh, it can not ever be compared to the slavery the was suffered in the usa. latinos are just africans, native indians and later on after a few hundrd years jews, germans and other european start to mix but they basically tanned, or mulattos.
   but this guy he should not say that we should now work harder just because we are black that is crazy, because this have already been done, yes we need work on the basis of just being americans and individuals despite being black color. this is now the 21th century, and yes I get it he trying make a point about blacks needing to be overachievers but not just because we are black should be motivation to do so, I never seen my life where I was going to study harder bc I am black, I do it to prove to myself. I respect this gentleman and brother of his success but I totally disagree with the comment he made about chris rock, that should now in this day and time need to be a black person who have to work harder than a dentist, just to live in the same affluent neighborhood where a dentist live and chris I am sure 3 or 4 times more than a dentist. point being if chris rock was a white or asian dentist and could afford to live where a white dentist live, he would not be accepted until he proved himself worthy because he is black, meaning now he have to work even harder so he can get into that affluent white and asian neighborhoods. I know these mentalites like steve stoute still exist and I am not mad @him bc he got it going but sorry about that issue your wrong my friend and brother. I thank God for phadrea(hswvs of ATL), and for tamar braxtons(of the braxtons) they are always stating what they have and how they say i got what I have not just because i had to work harder bc I am a black women but just bc I am a woman regardless of the struggle that exist because of being black.
