Meet Bethany Carter, wife of NFL star Andre Carter. The couple has two children: daughter (born in December 1993) and son (born in November 2007).

Currently, Andre Carter plays defensive end for the New England Patriots. He was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the first round (seventh overall) in the 2001 NFL Draft.
On March 14, 2006, Carter signed a six-year, $30 million contract with the Washington Redskins as an unrestricted free agent. Per Carter’s request, the Redskins released him on March 1, 2011.
A month later, Carter announced on his Twitter page on August 7th that he will be playing for the New England Patriots in 2011. Carter signed a one-year deal with a base salary of $1.75m with the Patriots. He also received a $500k signing bonus and the chance to earn another $500k in incentives.
Carter is the son of former Denver Broncos defensive tackle Rubin Carter.
