Rapper Drake’s father, Dennis Graham, sat down with Memphis’ Action 5 News to talk about his son’s recent hip hop success, his musical roots and how he encouraged Drake to sing when he was kid.
Graham, who was a drummer for Jerry Lee Lewis, reminisced on Drake’s musical upbringing. “I used to hold him in my lap while I played the piano. This is how it got started,” Graham said.
