Rapper/actor Heavy D was remembered this past Friday in a star-studded funeral service in his home town of Mount Vernon, New York.
Some of the stars in attendance included: Will Smith, Jay-Z, Usher and Diddy. Also, President Obama sent a personal letter offering his condolences, which was read during the eulogy.
Heavy D, real name Dwight Arrington Myers, died on November 8th due to complications from pneumonia at age 44.

Over the last week, there has been a lot of uproar and resentment towards Tyler Perry for making the decision to cast reality Tv star Kim Kardashian in his new upcoming film, “The Marriage Counselor.”
