Retired NFL star Tony Dorsett is one of more than 300 former players suing the NFL. In an exclusive interview with the “Associated Press,” Dorsett said the league (NFL) pressured injured players to “get back out” on the field, causing severe long-term damage.
Dorsett, now age 56, lives in the Dallas area with his wife, Janet Simon Dorsett and their three daughters.
Tony and Janet married back in 1981. Dorsett’s son, Anthony Dorsett, played 8 seasons in the NFL with the Titans and Raiders.
Dorsett says his main job these days is being a good husband and a father. Also, he works for a company promoting a new disinfectant called “IV-7.”
