Earlier today, CNN’s Roland Martin spoke out about the death of Trayvon Martin and how African-Americans are tired of accepting racism.
Martin said: “Black people are tired of having to accommodate racism, bigotry and stereotypes!”
Recently, relationship expert, entrepreneur and author Tionna Smalls chatted with Vibe Vixen’s Niki McGloster about a range of topics.
During the interview, Smalls spilled on why nice girls finish last, why she thinks celebs are watering down her lane and the top dating no-no’s. Also, she ripped VH1′s “Basketball Wives.”
President Obama made a personal plea earlier this morning for all Americans to come together and do some “soul searching” in regards to the shooting death of Trayvon Martin.
President Obama said:
“My main message is to the parents of Trayvon Martin. You know, if I had a son, he’d look like Trayvon. And you know, I think they are right to expect that all of us as Americans are going to take this with the seriousness it deserves and that we’re get to the bottom of exactly what happened.”
The investigation into the shooting death of Trayvon Martin has the Justice Department looking at possible civil rights violations and a grand jury considering charges.
During a rally led by MSNBC’s Reverend Al Sharpton on the behalf Trayvon Martin parents, popular radio host Michael Baisden blasted the Sanford Police Department for their lackluster investigation on the controversial case.
Baisden said:
“It’s Not fair that Michael Vick was locked up for killing dogs, but Zimmerman is free after killing Trayvon.”
