Shaunie O’Neal: ‘There Is Some Bullying On ‘Basketball Wives!’

ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW

“Basketball Wives” star and executive producer Shaunie O’Neal sat down with HipHollywood.com recently and admitted that there is some bullying on show.

Check out what Shaunie had to say below:

Due to all the fighting and violence on the show, an online petition has been created asking viewers to boycott Evelyn Lozada’s upcoming spin-off show titled, “Ev & Ocho,”which is set to premiere on VH1 this September.

The online petition reads:

Evelyn Lozada is a bully. The violence on “Basketball Wives” is horrible and disgraceful. Physical assaults, threats, verbal abuse, and harassment. VH1 is rewarding this behavior by giving Evelyn a spinoff. Don’t reward negative behavior.

Call or write Viacom who owns VH1. Let your voice be heard! See Petition Updates to view a list of VH1 advertisers with contact information.

Address: 1515 Broadway, New York, New York 10036, U.S.A.
Telephone: (212) 258-6000
Fax: (212) 258-6464

This is not a hate petition against Evelyn Lozada. We simply will not support violence. It hurts to see violence amongst women on television for entertainment purposes. It is not ok for women to hit each other on TV.

Please visit Petition Updates for the latest news and updates. Thank you to everyone for making your points without the use of profanity. We’re all about positive change. (Source)
