In case you missed it, Olympic gold medal gymnast Gabby Douglas hit the stage with with Alicia Keys and Nicki Minaj for a special performance at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards at Staples Center on Thursday night.
Alicia Keys brought down the house with her MTV Video Music Award performance of her latest single ‘Girl on Fire’ featuring Nicki Minaj.
Right on on cue, when Nicki Minaj spit the line, ‘I win the gold like Gabby’, Gabby Douglas appeared on stage and gave some of her gymnastics moves for the world to see.

Can you believe this time last year no one really even knew Gabby Douglas? It is amazing what hard work, desire and persistence can bring you these days.
