In case you did not know, Basketball Wives star, Tami Roman, is starring in the new TV-One series titled, “Belle’s,” which is a sitcom centered around a Black family named the the Coopers, who owns an upscale soul food restaurant in Atlanta.
BELLE’S is an upscale Atlanta soul-food restaurant owned and operated by the widowed, patriarch Big Bill Cooper (Keith David). Belle, Bill’s wife, passed two years ago, leaving him with his hands full: A restaurant to run and two daughters to raise, Jil Cooper (Elise Neal), a single mother newly divorced and Loreta Cooper (Tami Roman), the sassy one who is trying to find herself and a man.
Add to that a precocious 12-year-old grand-daughter Pam, a fiesty sister in-law Gladys Crawford and a womanizing cousin bartender named Maurice and you have BELLE’S family soul food restaurant.
