Meet Lia Ames, girlfriend of NFL star Julius Peppers. Lia and Julius started dating a couple of years ago and currently reside together in Highland Park, Illinois.
Originally born in Liberia Africa, Lia was raised internationally living in places such as Honduras, Thailand, Senegal and India.
A graduate from The University of Miami, Lia holds a degree in Business, International Studies and Marketing as well as a minor in Spanish and Finance.
Lia Ames is currently the General Manager of Club Play in Miami Beach. As the general manager of Club Play, one of the most popular event venues in South Beach, Lia works with VIP contacts such as celebrities and athletes, she also serves on multiple boards for fund raising charities to fulfill the humanitarian passion that burns within her.
Julius Peppers, nicknamed “The Freak Of Nature” because of his 6 foot 7 inch, 260 pound muscle stature, is a NFL star defensive end for the Chicago Bears.
Peppers attended the University of North Carolina, where he played college football and basketball.The Carolina Panthers selected him with the second overall pick in the 2002 NFL Draft where he played his first eight seasons.
On March 5, 2010, the Chicago Bears signed Peppers to a six-year contract worth $91.5 million, with $42 million guaranteed in the first three years.
