So how in the world did he pull this off?
Well, Ryan Leak, 27, overheard his girlfriend Amanda Roman, 25, confessing to a friend that her dream was to get engaged and married on the same day.
After overhearing this dream from Amanda, Ryan then committed a year to planning her perfect dream wedding, using her profile on the social media photo-sharing website Pinterest as guidance.
In her Pinterest account, Amanda had created a folder entitled ‘My dream wedding,’ which she used to ‘re-pin’ over 220 wedding-related images.
As a result, the folder Amanda created helped Ryan to choose every aspect of her dream wedding, from the flowers, to her dress, to the table decorations.
After a year of planning, Ryan and Amanda’s closest friends and family secretly flew to the wedding destination (Miami, Florida) to join the couple on their special day.
To her complete surprise, Ryan proposed to Amanda, then they married just hours later on June 7, 2013.
