Meet Whitney Golden Charles, wife of NFL star Jamaal Charles.
Jamaal, 27 and wife Whitney, 27, have known each other since they were in the eight grade living in Texas. The two got engaged on July 3rd, 2011 and married on June 2nd, 2012.
They have two beautiful daughters together named Makaila Jae and Makenzie.
In case you do not remember, Whitney was the first cousin to Kasandra Perkins, the woman who was killed in 2012 by NFL player Jovan Belcher… who then later killed himself.
Whitney was the person who introduced Cassandra to Jovan, with whom she had a daughter with him named Zoey…and now is under the custody of Whitney’s sister Sophie.
Currently, Jamaal Charles plays for the NFL’s Kansas City Chiefs. He played college football for the University of Texas, and was drafted by the Chiefs in the third round of the 2008 NFL Draft.
Back on December 11th, 2010, Jamaal signed a six-year, $27.97 million contract. The deal contains $13 million guaranteed, including an $8 million first-year roster bonus and $2 million of his second-year salary. Another $5 million is available through incentives.
