According to Nielsen results from this week, “Empire” broke a record of being the first network show in at least 23-years to grow consistently throughout the first five showings with 11.47 million total viewers that grew in overall audience for a fifth straight week.
Since “Empire’s” debut, the show has set a series high in each of it’s episodes with a total count: 1st episode – 9.9 million, 2nd episode -10.3 million, 3rd episode – 11.1 million, 4th episode – 11. 4 million and and 5th episode – 11.5 million.
