Former New Orleans Saints player Will Smith was shot and killed and his wife wounded Saturday after an apparent road rage accident in New Orleans. Police say Smith and his wife Racquel were shot by the driver named Cardale Hayes, who drove a Hummer that had rear-ended their SUV. The suspect Hayes is being charged with second-degree murder and is being held on $1 million bond.

Smith and wife Racquel have two children together and he had another child from a previous relationship.
