R&B singer John Legend surprised the congregation at Calvary Baptist Church in West Philadelphia with a performance of Aretha Franklin’s version of “How I Got Over.”
“I thought it’d be cool to kinda go back and do something that explored my roots a little bit,” Legend said. “It was just like church growing up for me. This is definitely reminding me of my childhood,” added Legend.

Rapper Lil Wayne and R&B singer Trey Songz attended the victory celebration at the swanky Fontainebleau Miami Beach Hotel. Coincidentally, Lebron James’ mother, Gloria James, was arrested at the same club two months ago.
