During an appearance on ESPN’s “First Take,” NBA analyst Stephen A. Smith went off on LeBron James for joking about possibly playing football in the NFL during the NBA lockout.
Smith feels that James needs to shut his mouth, stop walking around smiling and start concentrating on winning a NBA championship.
NFL star Terell Owens rounded up his mother, younger brother and sister to pull a prank on ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith. While giving an emotional announcement with a straight face, Owens was able to trick Smith into believing he was retiring from the NFL.

After Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s controversial fourth-round knockout victory of Victor Ortiz on Saturday night, HBO’s Larry Merchant caught up with Floyd for a post fight interview in the ring.
After answering a couple of questions about the fight, Mayweather became irritated and suggested the 80-year-old Merchant go talk to Ortiz “since you’ve never given me a fair shake.” Mayweather questioned Merchant’s knowledge of boxing and said:
“HBO should fire your ass”
“You don’t know sh*t about boxing”.
Larry Merchant fired back with…..
“If I was 50 years younger I would kick your ass”.

During yesterday’s episode of ESPN’s “First Take,” Miami Heat star Chris Bosh confronted host Skip Bayless over saying he’s soft and giving him the nickname “Bosh Spice”.
Tennis star Serena Williams was fined $2,000 today (Monday) for verbally lashing out at the umpire during her loss to Australian tennis star Sam Stosur in Sunday’s U.S. Open final.
During the second set of the game, Serena was penalized for grunting/yelling in celebration before the ball landed. Stosur was unable to hit the ball, however, the point was still taken away from Serena and given to the Australian because of the hindrance rule that allows for a point penalty if the “hindrance” is considered to be on purpose.
After the point was taken away, which ended up helping Stosur win the game, Williams launched into a verbal tirade.
