In his first major interview since replacing Regis Philbin on Kelly Ripa’s morning show, former NFL star Michael Strahan sat down with HBO’s “Real Sports” host Bryant Gumbel to discuss rumors about him that circulated following his bitter divorce from ex-wife Jean Muggli in 2006.
Strahan told Bryant Gumbel:
“I think early on when you’re reading all these things in the paper that aren’t true, I’m not an adulterer. I’m not gay. I mean, I didn’t beat anybody.”

In case you missed it…Retired NFL star Emmitt Smith and dance partner Cheryl Burke danced the “Samba” on “Dancing with the Stars All-Stars” last night.
The dance duo got some rave reviews after they danced a hot, hip-shaking Samba to “Copacabana” that caused judge Bruno to say, “The samba is difficult, but you make it look easy.” Judge Carrie Ann pointed out that Emmitt had “samba swagger.”
