Touching: Boy With Leukemia Dies A Day Before Meeting His Idol NBA Star Roy Hibbert!

Check out this heartfelt story about a 12-year-old boy with terminal leukemia who died one day before meeting his idol NBA star Roy Hibbert.

On Wednesday, Indiana Pacers center Roy Hibbert made plans to take a special trip to Sacramento, California to meet a young Lee Eddins who just wanted to meet “his idol” after learning from doctors he only had to few weeks to live.

Sadly, young Lee Eddins didn’t even have that much time. The 12-year-old boy died on Thursday — one day before Hibbert was slated to make his surprise visit to Lee’s home.

“I was very saddened and distraught,” Hibbert said in an interview Thursday afternoon on CNN. “I want to keep his spirit and memory alive and be part of his cause.”

Hibbert was on the way to the Indianapolis airport when he was informed of Lee’s death. The 7-footer still flew to California to meet Lee’s family.

Jamaica’s Olympic Sprinter Brigitte Foster-Hylton Breaks Down Crying Hysterically After Losing Race! [Video]

Jamaica’s medal hopeful Brigitte Foster-Hylton broke down crying hysterically after she tripped over a hurdle and fell to ground during the Olympic women’s 100-metre hurdles heat.

The 2009 World Champion, who led coming off the fourth hurdle following an explosive start, clipped the fifth barrier with her trail leg, stumbled and just could not recover to finish the race quick enough for a spot in Tuesday semi-final.

The heart-broken 37-year-old, who was competing in her fourth Olympic Games after appearances in 2000, 2004 and 2008, entered these Games as medal favourite with this season’s second fastest time of 12.51 seconds.

A distraught Foster-Hylton who had thrown herself to the ground in frustration after crossing the finish line in 13.98 seconds could not be consoled by American competition Lolo Jones, who won the heat in a season best 12.68 seconds.
