Malik Yoba Talks Starring In New Sci-Fi Series ‘Alphas’ And Being An Acting Teacher!

Actor Malik Yoba stopped by “Good Day New York” yesterday to talk about his starring role in SyFy’s new series, “Alphas”. The series follows five ordinary people which are brought together to form one extraordinary team based on their unique powers. Yoba portrays Bill Harkin, a former FBI agent and an “Alpha” who possesses super human strength.

Yoba also talked about teaching an intensive course titled, “The Working Actor,” which will be held at Long Island University’s Brooklyn campus this fall.

Lebron James Second Guesses Jumping Off 30 Foot Diving Board Into Swimming Pool!

While on a promotional tour for Nike in Spain, NBA star Lebron James and his business parter/childhood friend Maverick Carter stopped by the famous diving pool from the 1992 Barcelona Olympics.

Somehow James and Carter ended up on the 30 foot diving board with fans encouraging to jump. At first, the two pondered around the diving board,then eventually Carter took the plunge. However, Lebron still had cold feet, but after a few excruciating minutes, he took the plunged.

Michael Jordan Opens Up A New Steakhouse!

Michael Jordan’s Steak House opened to the public yesterday (Tuesday) at the InterContinental Chicago on famed Michigan Ave.

The 6,300 square foot restaurant is spread out over a second-floor dining room and a first-floor lobby bar of the hotel. Jordan’s upscale restaurant accommodates about 160 people, plus a couple of 20-seat private spaces. The restaurant also is taking over the hotel’s lobby-level bar space, which will be expanded to hold 90.

The restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner, with lunch entrées ranging from $14-$25 and dinner entrées $25-$45. Prime-aged steaks are $40 and up.
