Actress Victoria Rowell, 50, former soap star, best known for her role as Drucilla Winters from the CBS soap opera The Young and The Restless, became the wife of Atlanta artist Radcliffe Bailey. The couple married on June 27, 2009 in Dublin, NH.
This is the second marriage for Victoria. Her first marriage resulted in the birth of her first child, daughter Maya Fahey. Her second child, a son named Jasper Marsalis, was from her relationship with jazz great Wynton Marsalis. Radcliffe also has a son and daughter from a previous marriage.
The couple’s romance, which began in July 2007, led to the bride’s walk down the aisle on the arm of actor Samuel L. Jackson, whose wife played Cupid for the couple, the New York Times revealed.
Radcliffe Bailey was raised and educated in Atlanta, where he lives and works today. He graduated from Benjamin El Mays High School and received a B.F.A. from Atlanta College of Art in 1991. Bailey produces large three-dimensional paintings that address his life as a young Southern African-American.
