During the interview, Whoopi Goldberg asked Ellen if she got any angry fan mail because her character on the TV series “Grey’s Anatomy” is adopting a black baby. Pompeo responded, “No one can say anything to me because I have a baby of color.” Sherri Shepherd quickly chimed in letting the audience know that Ellen is married to a black man and has a baby of color in real life.
