For the photo shoot, celebrity hair stylist Ted Gibson chose to do away with Gabby’s gym-ready ponytail for long wavy locks.

Gibson, who has worked with A-list celebrities, said working with the 16-year-old gold medalist has been one of the highlights of his career.

Gibson said:

“We’re hoping this new ‘do will finally snatch the spotlight away from Gabby’s hair and silence all the haters.”
