First Lady Michelle Obama And NBA Star Grant Hill Host Exercise Event At The White House.
After announcing a new program to encourage physical activity for military families, including free gym memberships and personal trainers, First Lady Michelle Obama, accompanied by NBA star Grant Hill, left, and tennis legend Billie Jean King, hosted an exercise event on the South Lawn of the White House in Washington. The event was part of First Lady Obama’s “Let’s Move” campaign to promote physical fitness.
Mrs. Obama was also joined by council co-chair gymnast Dominique Dawes, figure skater Michelle Kwan and NBA star Chris Paul of the New Orleans Hornets. First Lady Obama and her celebrity guest led exercise demonstrations at different activity stations on the South Lawn for approximately eighty children and their parents.
Beyonce Surprises Students In Harlem For The ‘Let’s Move! Flash Workout’ Campaign.
Beyonce made a surprise appearance at PS 161 Pedro Albizu Campos middle school in Harlem yesterday to lead the students in her dance routine video “Move Your Body!” As the students started the workout, Beyonce made a surprise entrance and jumped right in to the dance routine. The students paused for a second in shock, but then continued the workout along with Beyonce.
The Let’s Move! Flash Workout was started by First Lady Michelle Obama and Beyonce to help fight childhood obesity!

As you might already know, R&B singer Beyonce teamed up with First Lady Michelle Obama to tackle childhood obesity and promote the benefits of healthy eating and exercise.
As a result, Beyonce re-wrote and re-recorded her song “Get Me Bodied” for a dance/exercise routine video titled “Let’s Move! Flash Workout” that will be distributed to participating schools. Check out the new original video below:
