Apparently, the long time feud between Oprah and Whoopi was just created by the media and a lack of communication.
On Monday’s show, Oprah recounted that during a recent gathering at Tyler Perry’s house, Winfrey and Goldberg met in the kitchen.
“Whoopi came up to me and she said, ‘Can I just ask you something?,’ ” Winfrey told the audience. “She said … ‘Did I do something to you?’ ” “What are you talking about?” Winfrey said she asked her. “All these years, you know, we’ve been disconnected and I just want to know, did I do something?” Goldberg responded at the party. And Winfrey said, “All these years I thought you were mad at me.”
Also on the episode, Whoopi Goldberg, Danny Glover and the cast of “The Color Purple” reunited for the first time in 25 years.
