During a recent sit-down interview with The Hollywood Reporter, media mogul Oprah Winfrey, 59, opened up about her decision to not have any children and why she doesn’t regret her choice.
Winfrey told The Hollywood Reporter:
“If I had kids, my kids would hate me,” the former talk show host told THR. “They would have ended up on the equivalent of the Oprah show talking about me; because something [in my life] would have had to suffer and it would’ve probably been them.”
Winfrey also admitted when she was a little girl, she never had any dreams of being a parent, but did have dreams on how she could be Martin Luther King.
