In an exclusive interview with Entertainment Weekly, actor Terrence Howard and co-star Taraji P. Henson opened up about having “good chemistry,” their long history of working together and how their new FOX show “Empire” has taken the world by storm.
Terrence said:
“We’re like father and daughter, mother and son, brother and sister,” he said. “We’ve never been lovers. When I was doing Hustle & Flow, I was like, ‘I know I’m playing this character right if all my female co-leads want to sleep with me.’ Taraji was the only one that didn’t want to.”
Taraji on working with Terrence On “Empire”:“I just knew it had to be him,” she said. “When I read the script, I was like, ‘This is that deep love that you can’t explain, that you just see, and Terrence and I have that for each other.”
In case you did not know, Empire‘s ratings keep on growing and growing as the show approaches the season finale in a few weeks.
Empire rose to 13.75 million viewers in last night’s episode, which makes it the most-watched show on Wednesday night.
