Since May of 2009, Actress Kate Hudson has been connected to New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez. The blond, Los Angeles-born actress met Alex at the reopening of the Fontainebleau hotel in Miami Beach last November 2008. On July 23rd, 2009, Hudson crashed A-Rod’s Suburban SUV in Manhattan while on her way to get coffee with a friend. According to the report Rodriguez was unaware of his SUV being used, and did not take the news lightly.
Prior to dating Kate Hudson, Rodriguez was married to now ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis.
Alex married Cynthia Scurtis on November 2, 2002. The couple’s first child, Natasha Alexander, was born on November 18, 2004. On April 21, 2008, Cynthia gave birth to their second child, Ella Alexander,in Miami, Florida.
On July 2, 2008, the New York Daily News reported that Rodríguez and his wife had separated. At the time, rumors wre circulating about a possible affair between Rodríguez and pop singer Madonna. Madonna later denied the rumors. July 7, 2008, Cynthia Rodríguez filed for divorce, citing “emotional abandonment” and marital infidelity by her husband.
