Meet Shelby Francis, wife of NBA star Steve Francis. Shelby and Steve married on September 9th, 2006 at the Mellon Auditorium in front of 500 guests. The couple has two childrean, a son and daughter.
Steve Francis has played 10 years in the NBA. Francis was selected second in the 1999 NBA Draft by the Vancouver Grizzlies. Steve has played for several teams including: Houston Rockets (1999–2004, 2007–2008), Orlando Magic (2004–2006),New York Knicks (2006–2007).
On January 27, 2009, it was reported that the Grizzlies waived Francis, without ever appearing in a game for them. Currently, Steve may be close to signing a deal with a team in the Chinese Basketball Association.
