NFL star Roy Williams finally got his wish after the $76,000 engagement ring he sent to his ex-girlfriend Brooke Daniels was finally returned to him a month later after she declined his marriage proposal.
As we reported last week, Williams was suing his ex-girlfriend, Brooke Daniels, to get back the ring he mailed to her on Valentine’s Day along with a videotaped proposal and around $5,000 for school and dental work .
At first, Daniels told Williams she lost the ring, however, after an investigation from Williams’ insurance company, the ring was in the possession of Daniels’ father, Michael, who was also listed as a defendant on the lawsuit.
Michael Daniels, who said he believed Williams told his daughter she could keep the ring, confirmed that he had it and was going to give it back to Williams to avoid the lawsuit.
Thanks to Williams’ lawyer overseeing the process, the former Miss Texas USA returned the ring back last Wednesday.
