Actor Taye Diggs and his childhood friend Shane Evans stopped by Sway’s morning satellite radio show recently to promote his new children’s book “Chocolate Me,” which tells a story of a dark-skinned boy with curly hair who is made fun of because of his appearance.
During one segment of the interview, the subject of race and color came up, and quite naturally Taye’s Jewish wife Idina Menzel and son became the the topic of conversation.
Taye dished on how he met his wife and explained how he felt meeting her parents for the time. Diggs also joked about his mother telling him that she always knew “he would marry a white girl.’
