“Atlanta Housewives” star Kandi Burruss chatted with CNN’s “Showbiz Tonight” about her past relationship with her late fiance A.J. Jewell.
Burruss also gave her opinion on whether it was right for “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star Taylor Armstrong’s to write a memoir about her late husband Russell Armstrong, who committed suicide back in August 2001.
In late 2008, Kandi began a relationship with A.J. Jewell after dating for several months. The couple got enaged in January 2009.
In June 2009, Burruss and Jewell called off the engagement and later ended their relationship. Less than four months after separating from Burruss, on October 2, 2009, Jewell was killed outside of a club’s parking lot in a fight. He suffered massive head trauma in a heated argument at the Body Tap Club, an Atlanta strip club.
