A piano teacher named Lisa Thomas who was inside the mansion when Pilar and Deion Sanders got into a domestic altercation last week, tells WFAA’s Rebecca Lopez she is stunned that Pilar was arrested and Deion was treated nicely.
For nine years, she’s taught piano lessons to Deion and Pilar Sanders’ three children. On Monday, she was at the home, about to teach a lesson.
“I heard glass breaking, and Deion was shouting at the top of his lungs, over and over again, ‘Get out of my house, get out of my house!'” Thomas said.
“I was flabbergasted,” she said. “This can not be right. It’s not right. It’s so wrong. Now way she deserved to go to jail.”
Thomas said she cares for both Pilar and Deion, but felt she had to say something to set the record straight.
