S. Epatha Merkerson Talks Spending 16 Years Playing Lieutenant Anita Van Buren on ‘Law And Order.’ (Video)

Actress S.Epatha Merkerson visited the studio of “Good Day LA” recently and talked about spending 16 years (from 1993 to 2010) playing the role as NYPD Lieutenant Anita Van Buren on the long-running NBC police drama series “Law & Order.”

Merkerson has appeared in 391 episodes of the series, which is more than any other cast member.
