Theballerlife.com would like to congratulate NFL star Richard Sherman and his girlfriend Ashley Moss on giving birth to their first child on Thursday morning…just four days after the Super Bowl.
Around 4 a.m. PST, Sherman tweeted about the birth saying:
“My son sure does know how to make an entrance! 2/5/15… Is it a coincidence or is he just that clever?! Either way I’m ecstatic. Haven’t felt anything better than this! Thank you God such a blessing!”
The baby’s pending arrival last week, and Sherman’s participation in one of the biggest games of his life, had been a hot topic before Sunday’s Super Bowl XLIX as his girlfriend, Ashley, was in Arizona for the game.
Three days before the Super Bowl, Sherman was asked what would he do if Moss went into labor around game time. Sherman joked, “I think he’s going to be a disciplined young man and stay in there until after the game. We’ll cross that bridge when we get to it, but I think he will be a disciplined young man and stay in there a while longer.”
