TheBallerLife.com has learned that Carolina Panthers star quarterback Cam Newton made a surprise appearance and helped fans shop for Father’s Day gifts Thursday night at the Target store on REA Road in Charlotte.

Newton, age 27, will celebrate his first Father’s Day on Sunday. Newton and his longtime girlfriend Kia Proctor welcomed their son named Chosen Sebastian Newton on December 24, 2015.
