We just learned that NFL baller Tommie Harris’ wife, Ashley Harris, 29, died on Sunday (last night) in an Oklahoma hospital after suffering a stroke or brain aneurysm just two days earlier.
About a month ago, we posted an amazing heart-felt love story (here) about former NFL baller Chris Draft, 35, who lost his wife Keasha Rutledge, 38, to lung cancer one month after they were married.
As a result, ESPN caught wind of the tragedy and published an extended version of this amazing love story.
Also, Draft opened up about losing his wife Keasha and their loving memories.
Former NFL player Napoleon Harris stopped by the studio of “Good Day Chicago” to talk about his current plans to run for the Illinois Senate seat in the 15th District.
Harris, 32, who also owns and operates two “Beggars Pizza” chains, said that he wants to use his entrepreneur skills and experience to help bring jobs back to the local community as senator.
Napoleon married his high school friend Nicole Bunton-Harris back in June 2006.

Meet Stacee Green Hurd, wife of former NFL baller Sam Hurd. The couple met in college while they were students at Northern Illinois University in Dekalb, Illinois.
They married back in 2006 during a enchanted double-ring ceremony at the Bethany Union Church in Chicago. They have one young daughter together and a home in Lake Forest, Ill.
On Wednesday (December 14, 2011), Sam Hurd was arrested in Chicago for allegedly telling an undercover agent he was interested in buying five to 10 kilograms of cocaine and 1,000 pounds of marijuana per week to distribute in the Chicago area.
