Meet Stacee Green Hurd, wife of former NFL baller Sam Hurd. The couple met in college while they were students at Northern Illinois University in Dekalb, Illinois.
They married back in 2006 during a enchanted double-ring ceremony at the Bethany Union Church in Chicago. They have one young daughter together and a home in Lake Forest, Ill.
On Wednesday (December 14, 2011), Sam Hurd was arrested in Chicago for allegedly telling an undercover agent he was interested in buying five to 10 kilograms of cocaine and 1,000 pounds of marijuana per week to distribute in the Chicago area.
Hurd’s wife Stacee (below), from Calumet City, was spotted leaving court on Friday ( Dec. 16, 2011), after Hurd’s bond hearing in Chicago.
Stacee gave no comment. Hurd was released Friday after posting $100,000 bond.
Samuel Hurd is currently a NFL free agent. From 2006-2010, Hurd played for the Dallas Cowboys. On July 29, 2011, he signed a three-year contract with the Chicago Bears, reportedly worth up to $5.15 million, including a $1.35 million signing bonus and base pay this season of $685,000. The Bears cut Hurd from the team on December 16, 2011 following his arrest on federal drug-related charges.
