Former WBO heavyweight boxing champ Shannon Briggs kisses his girlfriend Alana Wilson at the official weighing prior to his heavy weight boxing title bout against current champion Vladimir Klitschko.
Briggs will fight Klitschko in a WBC title bout in the northern German town of Hamburg tonight ( October 16, 2010).
Shannon and Alana have dated for years. The couple has two children together.
Shannon won the WBO heavyweight championship title when he knocked out Sergei Liakhovich in the last round of a November 4, 2006, matchup.
Briggs is also an actor. He made his television acting debut on New York Undercover in 1995 and has since appeared in feature films Bad Boys 2 with Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, Transporter 2, and The Wackness.
Briggs also made an appearance on the Fugees’ breakthrough album, The Score.
