Jimmy Rollins’ Wife Johari Smith

Meet Johari Smith Rollins, wife of MLB star Jimmy Rollins. Johari met Jimmy when she was working as an intern in the ticket sales department for the Philidelphia Phillies.

The couple married on January 23, 2010 at the Ritz Carlton in the Cayman Islands.

Johari and Jimmy celebrated their wedding with family and friends, including Los Angeles Angels groomsman Bobby Abreu. Several Phillies also were in attendance, including Shane Victorino, Ryan Howard, Chase Utley and Cole Hamels.


The couple has two children together (Akita dogs).

Johari was raised in East Mount Airy, Pennsylvania. She is a graduate of the University of Virginia and Howard University. Johari has a B.A. degree in International Business and Marketing from Howard University.

Her passion for fitness and health led her to become a certified personal trainer through A.A.A.I/I.S.M.A..


Johari is the owner of  Balance Fitness Center, a personal training gym in the upscale Chestnut Hill section of Philly. For more info about Johari’s fitness website, click here.

Also, Johari currently is the strength/conditioning, track, and cross-country coach at Springside School.

Jimmy Rollins currently plays for the Major League Baseball’s Philadelphia Phillies. Rollins was drafted by the Philidelphia Phillies in the second round of the 1996 draft. His first MLB debut came on September 17, 2000.

On Jun 13,2005 Jimmy signed a 5-year, $40 million dollar contract with the Philadelphia Phillies.The contract included a $5 million dollar signing bonus with a club option for 2011 ($8.5m)
