PART 2: Rhoni’s boyfriend, Shaun gayle, calls the police to ask about some vague reports he’s hearing about the shooting-and becomes very emotional during a call with them. still, as the boyfriend, investigators want to talk to him as a possible suspect.
PART 3: Gayle gives the police the name of a former girlfriend, who he believes was behind the nasty, harassing letters, as a possible suspect. As police still investigate Shaun and the ex-girlfriend, tipsters provide the name of another woman in Shaun’s life, Marni Yang.
PART 4: Investigators clear Shaun and the ex-girlfriend, but begin to learn about marni yang from a former friend of hers and by looking through marni’s trash. They are also given the name of marni’s best friend, who will be a key player as they investigate the crime.
PART 5: Police bring Marni in for a videotaped interrogation and get a lot of interesting answers from her. They also question her three children, who shed light on her alibi for the morning of the murder. But they still have no hard evidence against her in the crime.
PART 6: Investigators get Marni’s best friend, Christi Paschen, to turn against her and to agree to wear a wire and ask Marni about the murder. Was that undercover operation successful? Do police finally solve the case?
